Spring Cleaning
Aha spring is in the air! Can’t you feel it? This is the time of year when the blossoms bloom, the birds chirp, and the sun shines. It’s also the time of year when the rains pour. I like to think that the rain is cleansing the earth. The rain signifies a rebirth.
Just like the rain we clean. We do our spring cleaning. We clean our homes from top to bottom. We clean out the garages, our attics and any other cranny that needs to be de-cluttered. But have you thought about cleaning your spirit, cleaning your heart, clearing your head?
I read an article about cleansing your chakras or energy centers. The article said there are 7 main chakras throughout the body. One houses our mental and emotional strengths. Think about that for a moment. If our mental health and emotions are out of balance then how can we truly function and be totally present? The article goes on to state that once we release the stale energy from the body it can undo tightness, stiffness, or any other malfunctions. Translating this into releasing tensions, stress and worry so you can think clearly and find the answers to you unanswered questions.
Cleansing this chakra can provide balance and clarity. To be successful, stress free and productive you need balance. You need clarity to fulfill your God given talents. You know how you are when you are stressed! You’re blocked. The flow of answers and creativity is stifled. You feel helpless.
So, this spring take a moment to cleanse your chakra or less technical, get still and get in tune with yourself. Figure out what’s ailing you. Once you do, you’ll feel free, healthy and determined to get things done. Namaste every one!
Until next time, enjoy the journey!
